Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety
• Document care services accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
• Brighten residents' days with companionship and emotional support

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification; ability to renew if needed
• A passion for serving others and a positive, caring attitude
• Ability to work a per diem schedule and adapt to varying assignments
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus, but new grads welcome

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
• Understanding of infection prevention and control practices
• Skill in taking vital signs and documenting patient information
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary care team
• Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents
• Familiarity with electronic health records and care documentation
