Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dental hygienists during examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Expose and develop dental x-rays as directed
• Provide compassionate patient care and education
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Dental Assistant certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in dental assisting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Understanding of dental radiography procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
