Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient exams and treatment procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatory rooms
• Take and pour dental impressions and fabricate orthodontic appliances
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Document patient treatment and maintain accurate records
• Manage clinical supplies and ensure a clean, organized workspace

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified (COA or equivalent)
• Experience in orthodontic assisting preferred
• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and dental terminology
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a busy dental practice

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic assisting expertise
• Familiarity with Denticon dental software
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols
• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and materials
