Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with daily procedures, including bracket placement, adjustments, and removals
• Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and explaining procedures
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to OSHA standards
• Take and process dental X-rays using digital imaging systems
• Manage patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
• Provide post-treatment instructions and support to patients and their families

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or comparable certification
• X-ray certification highly preferred
• Previous experience in orthodontics is a big plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Proficiency with dental software (like Denticon) is a plus
• Excellent patient care and chairside manner
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
