Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs, reporting changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing is preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nursing care principles and practices
• Proficient in medication administration and IV therapy
• Ability to interpret telemetry rhythms and EKGs
• Skilled in patient assessment and care planning
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
