Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to build clear, individualized treatment plans
• Design and deliver evidence-based treatment programs that improve daily function
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Provide training in adaptive techniques and equipment for daily living skills
• Perform home assessments and recommend environmental adaptations
• Deliver sensorimotor integration and visual perceptual-motor remediation therapies
• Administer prevocational and prosthetic training to support return-to-work and independence
• Educate patients and families on energy conservation, joint protection, safety, and transfer techniques
• Collaborate with schools, nursing homes, and other community agencies as a clinical consultant
• Participate in quality improvement activities and department in-services

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Current WA State Occupational Therapist license required (or actively in process of obtaining)
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
• Ability to complete mandatory education and maintain regulatory requirements
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor representing the organization
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role and follow safety/HIPAA guidelines

Education

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
