Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered occupational therapy evaluations and treatments for pediatric patients
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to enhance daily living skills and independence
• Collaborate with families, physicians, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely manner
• Adapt therapeutic activities and use creative approaches to keep young patients engaged
• Support a safe, child-friendly environment and uphold infection control standards

Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license or eligibility to obtain one
• BLS certification for healthcare providers
• Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy assessments and interventions
• Proficiency with electronic health records and therapy equipment
• Ability to build therapeutic rapport with children and families
• Critical thinking and adaptability to meet individual patient needs
