Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat neuro and ortho patients in an inpatient rehab setting
• Develop individualized treatment plans to restore functional independence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress accurately in Meditech system
• Provide coverage for acute units including Ortho, Tele, and ICU as needed

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Texas (no temporary licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient rehab or acute hospital experience
• BLS certification required
• Must be willing to float to other units per floating policy

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical skills in neuro and ortho evaluations and treatments
• Proficiency with Meditech documentation system
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• NDT or brain injury certification a plus
