Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' functional needs and establish meaningful, person-centered goals
• Design and implement evidence-based occupational therapy treatment plans
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies, home programs, and safety
• Document progress clearly and timely to support continuity of care
• Adapt interventions to meet diverse patient populations and changing caseloads
• Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance practice

Qualifications

• Active California occupational therapy license (required)
• NBCOT certification preferred or current certification in occupational therapy
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• Comfort working in fast-paced environments and adapting to variable schedules
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to care

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (MSOT, OTD, or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment
• Skilled in functional assessments, ADL training, and activity analysis
• Ability to create clear, goal-oriented treatment plans and progress notes
• Good clinical judgment and patient-centered problem solving
• Familiarity with safety and infection control practices
