Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests on patient specimens to aid in diagnosis and treatment
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results
• Analyze test results and record data in the lab information system
• Follow strict quality control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide timely and accurate lab information

Qualifications

• Current Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification (ASCP or equivalent) is highly desired
• Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in laboratory procedures and equipment operation
• Knowledge of lab safety and infection control standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with lab information systems
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
