Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses on patient specimens with accuracy and precision
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure reliable results
• Review and verify test results, documenting any abnormalities promptly
• Follow strict quality control and safety procedures to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely diagnostic information
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment

Qualifications

• Current MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) certification (ASCP or AMT preferred)
• Valid state licensure if required in Washington
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of laboratory information systems and data entry
• Understanding of quality control procedures and safety standards
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Compassion and professionalism when handling patient samples
