Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents and patients at Pine Point Center
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring for effectiveness and potential side effects
• Perform thorough assessments and accurately document patient status and responses to care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement personalized care plans
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and next steps in care
• Act quickly and calmly in response to changes in patient condition, escalating concerns to the care team as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in line with facility policies and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered LPN or RN license in Maine
• Completion of COVID-19 vaccination (original or updated) or a documented religious/medical exemption
• Ability to bring a valid state or federal photo ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
