Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents and patients
• Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations as ordered
• Monitor and document patient vitals and condition changes
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management

Qualifications

• Current and active LPN license in the state of Maine
• BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption as required
• Ability to pass background checks and provide state or federal identification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• New graduates and experienced LPNs are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nursing practices and patient care standards
• Skill in administering medications and treatments as permitted by state scope
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Compassion and empathy for patients and families
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
