Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per-diem schedule (days vary), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to support patient comfort and recovery
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Perform timely assessments and document patient status in the chart
Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to coordinate care
Assist with patient education and discharge planning to promote positive outcomes
Maintain infection control standards and a safe patient environment
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to ensure continuity

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license (as applicable)
Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent) preferred
Valid state nursing license for North Carolina
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting and adapting to variable schedules
Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset

Knowledge & Skills

Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Medication administration and basic treatment competency
Accurate documentation and charting practices
Familiarity with standard infection control procedures
Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and follow care plans
