Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients with dignity
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
Monitor patient status, report changes to the care team, and escalate concerns promptly
Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to support individualized care plans
Perform essential assessments, charting, and routine procedures according to facility protocols
Support patients and families with clear communication and respectful interaction

Qualifications

Current, active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in New Mexico (or compact/eligible where applicable)
Graduation from an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain promptly)
Previous LPN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
Clear background check and ability to meet facility health requirements (immunizations, TB screening, etc.)

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN / Vocational Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and staff
Basic wound care, vital signs monitoring, and ADL assistance competence
