Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Monitor and record vital signs and resident conditions accurately and promptly
• Support mobility and safe transfers, following facility protocols to reduce fall risk
• Document care thoroughly in resident charts and communicate changes to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other staff to help residents meet care goals
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
• Offer emotional support and respectful interaction to residents and families

Qualifications

• Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification required
• Local candidates only; reliable transportation required
• Comfortable working night shifts and providing weekend coverage (every other weekend)
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility health requirements (standard for caregiving roles)
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs
• Familiarity with patient safety, mobility assistance, and fall prevention
• Comfortable with basic charting and following care plans
• Good observational skills and the ability to communicate changes in condition
