Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC; schedule varies, every other weekend (EOW) required

Hours per Week: 37

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and resident status accurately and promptly
Assist nursing staff with mobility, bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting needs
Follow care plans and report changes in condition to the clinical team
Support a safe, clean environment and help maintain infection control standards
Communicate clearly and courteously with residents, families, and colleagues to promote continuity of care

Qualifications

Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification (NH; VT certification a plus)
Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend as required
Local candidates preferred
Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
Facility-required health screenings and immunizations as applicable

Education

Completion of a state-approved LNA program or equivalent; high school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs and resident mobility
Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and observations
Knowledge of basic infection control and resident safety practices
Strong teamwork, time management, and communication skills
Ability to follow care plans and report changes accurately
