Shift Type: Days not specified, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening/PM shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including personal hygiene and mobility assistance
Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
Assist with feeding, dressing, grooming, and toileting while preserving dignity
Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Document care activities and resident responses accurately and timely
Build trusting relationships with residents and families to enhance quality of life

Qualifications

GNA certification or equivalent (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous experience working with elderly or long-term care residents is a plus
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with strong communication skills
Ability to safely lift and move residents with training and team support

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
GNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, simple observations
Comfortable working with geriatric populations and dementia care basics
Good documentation skills and attention to detail
Team-oriented mindset and ability to follow care plans
Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
Time management skills to prioritize resident needs during a shift
