Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with flexible start times as early as 6:00 AM, plus rotating weeknight and weekend call coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist physicians with advanced GI procedures including EUS, ERCP, and complex stent placements
Perform meticulous scope reprocessing using Medivator DSD Edge and Olympus OER Pro systems
Support high-volume inpatient and outpatient cases ranging from routine colonoscopies to complex stone management
Handle biopsy, snare procedures, GI bleed interventions, and dilation techniques with precision
Maintain exceptional standards in scope handling and high-level disinfection protocols

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent endoscopy tech experience within the past 6 months
Current BLS certification required
Strong proficiency in advanced EUS, complex ERCP, and stent placement/exchange/removal
Expertise in stone management and general GI procedures
Solid manual scope washing and handling skills with independent GI procedure support

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced EUS and complex ERCP techniques
Stent placement, exchange, and removal procedures
Stone management expertise
Scope reprocessing and HLD protocols
EBUS and ION procedure support (preferred)
Biopsy, snare, and GI bleed intervention skills
Balloon and Maloney/Savory dilation techniques
