Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage patients quickly and accurately in a high-volume emergency department
• Assess, stabilize, and treat patients with critical injuries and acute medical conditions
• Collaborate with trauma teams and physicians to deliver Level I/II trauma care
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions per protocol
• Continuously monitor patient status and document care in a fast-paced environment
• Support patients and families with compassion and clear communication during emergencies

Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications required
• TNCC certification required
• Level I or Level II trauma experience required
• Must thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented emergency department

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency nursing and trauma care principles
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) protocols
• Patient triage and rapid assessment
• Critical thinking and calm decision-making under pressure
• Strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
