Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate oral hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Perform dental cleanings, assessments, and plaque removal with precision
• Take and develop dental x-rays to support treatment planning
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to deliver exceptional care

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license required
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Skill in patient assessment and oral health evaluation
• Understanding of dental radiography and safety protocols
• Ability to maintain a sterile and organized workspace
• Great interpersonal skills to make patients feel comfortable
