Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during brace placements, adjustments, and Invisalign treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms for each patient
• Take and process dental X-rays and digital scans
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, braces care, and Invisalign usage
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Create a warm, welcoming environment that puts patients at ease

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent
• Previous orthodontic experience with braces and Invisalign strongly preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• State-approved dental X-ray certification
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Proficient in taking dental impressions and digital scans
• Familiarity with sterilization and infection control standards
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative dental team
