Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality dental hygiene care including cleanings and preventive treatments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and personalized care plans
• Assist dentists during procedures to ensure a smooth, comfortable patient experience
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
• Sterilize and prepare instruments following strict infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced dental practice

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental anatomy and hygiene procedures
• Proficiency with dental software and digital imaging
• Patient education and motivational interviewing abilities
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization standards
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
