Shift Type: Flexible schedule, 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM, days vary
Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling to remove plaque and tartar
- Examine patients for signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis and periodontitis
- Take and develop dental X-rays to aid in diagnosis
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Apply fluoride and sealants to protect teeth
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
- Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental X-rays
- Excellent patient education and chairside manner
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records
