Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to keep patients smiling
• Assess oral health conditions and document findings to support diagnosis
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and follow-up care
• Maintain a sterile and safe clinical environment following infection control standards
• Collaborate with dentists to deliver exceptional patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
• Prior experience in a dental practice is a plus
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of dental radiography and safety protocols
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with diverse patients
