Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately
- Collaborate with dentists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain a clean and sterile clinical environment
Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in New York State
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing excellent patient care
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques and equipment
- Knowledge of infection control protocols
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
