Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures and stroke protocol imaging with accuracy and compassion
• Administer IV contrast and manage IV access safely for CT studies
• Assist with biopsy procedures and other interventional cases as required
• Operate and maintain GE CT scanners, ensuring image quality and patient safety
• Document patient exams and findings in MEDITECH and handle images in Sectra PACS
• Provide clear communication and excellent patient care during high-volume periods (30–40 procedures per day)
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely imaging support for stroke and emergency cases

Qualifications

• ARRT-CT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• IV trained with demonstrated IV access skills
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience (stroke and interventional/biopsy experience preferred)
• Comfortable performing x-ray related duties as needed
• Experience with GE CT scanners and familiarity with PACS workflows

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in CT imaging protocols including stroke and biopsy support
• Proficient with MEDITECH documentation and Sectra PACS image management
• Strong IV access skills and contrast administration knowledge
• Ability to manage a high-volume CT unit while maintaining patient-centered care
• Solid understanding of safety protocols, radiation protection, and infection control
