Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced CT exams (including CTA with perfusion) with accuracy and compassion
• Provide rapid, high-quality imaging for ER and inpatient trauma cases to support critical care decisions
• Operate and troubleshoot GE CT scanners (Philips ICT50 experience is a plus)
• Prepare and administer contrast using Med Rad injectors per protocol and safety guidelines
• Document procedures thoroughly in Cerner EMR and manage images in PACS (DR Systems)
• Collaborate with the CT supervisor, charge nurse, and clinical teams to optimize patient flow
• Maintain radiation safety standards and ensure equipment quality and cleanliness
• Contribute to a fast-paced team atmosphere while supporting colleagues during high-volume periods

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• MRTBE CRT certification required
• Proven GE CT scanner experience required; Philips ICT50 experience preferred
• Prior inpatient and ER CT experience with trauma and CTA protocols preferred
• Comfortable working occasional weekends and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field; ARRT (R)(CT) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Operating GE CT scanners and familiarity with Philips ICT50
• Contrast administration and Med Rad injector experience
• Cerner EMR proficiency and PACS (DR Systems) image management
• Trauma imaging workflows, CTA with perfusion protocols, and routine CT exams
• Radiation safety, patient positioning, and infection control best practices
