Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to residents with compassion and attention
• Implement established nursing care procedures and follow supervisor directions
• Assess resident condition, monitor vital signs, and document changes accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to protocol
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans
• Educate residents and families about care plans, medications, and safety
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and communicate observations to supervisors

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license for Colorado (or compact RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a resident-centered approach
• Ability to pass background checks and meet employer onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of daily nursing care practices and healthcare procedures
• Skilled in medication administration and documentation
• Familiarity with resident safety protocols and infection control
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and respond calmly in urgent situations
• Comfortable working as part of a collaborative care team
