Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
Monitor and record vital signs and promptly report changes to nursing staff
Assist patients with activities of daily living to promote dignity and comfort
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support individualized care plans
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control and safety protocols
Document care and observations accurately to support continuity of care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by the facility
Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
Previous patient care experience is a plus and helpful, but great attitude and willingness to learn matter most

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and observation skills
Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling practices
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with clinical staff
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment
Basic documentation and charting skills
