Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of clinical laboratory tests that directly impact patient care
Analyze specimens with precision and care to support accurate diagnoses
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver timely results
Maintain quality control standards that keep the lab running smoothly
Troubleshoot equipment and processes to ensure reliable outcomes

Qualifications

Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license
ASCP or HEW certification
At least 2 years of generalist experience in a clinical lab setting
Comfortable working evening shifts and rotating weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Strong foundation in generalist lab procedures across chemistry, hematology, and microbiology
Attention to detail that ensures accurate, reliable test results
Ability to work independently while being a great team player
Familiarity with EMR systems like Point Click is a plus
