Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms with necessary sterile instruments and supplies
• Assist surgical team during procedures, passing instruments and maintaining sterile field
• Ensure all surgical equipment is properly sterilized and functioning
• Collaborate with nurses and surgeons to provide optimal patient care
• Document surgical procedures accurately
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active NBSTA and DORA certifications required
• Minimum 6 months of current acute care CST hospital experience
• BLS certification preferred
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with OR equipment and Meditech EMR
• Experience with Ortho/Spine, CV, General, Robotics, and Urology procedures
• Knowledge of sterile processing techniques
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
