Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and labeling medications accurately
• Perform a broad range of technical support functions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
• Support the dispensing of community patient prescriptions
• Help provide immunizations, medication management services, and discharge medications to bedside
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient pharmacy environment

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License required upon submission
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience preferred
• Successful completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred
• Willingness to pass a pre-employment/post-offer drug screen
• COVID vaccination required

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication preparation and labeling
• Prescription dispensing
• Proficiency with Point Click pharmacy system
• Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
