Candidate Pay Rate: $13 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to residents
Measure and record vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility care plans
Support safe transfers and proper use of assistive devices
Communicate effectively with the care team and families to promote continuity of care
Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Alabama preferred or eligible)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous hands-on patient care experience is a plus
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered approach
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on per-diem shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and mobility assistance
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection prevention and standard precautions
Safe transfer and lifting techniques
Basic charting and electronic or paper record familiarity
Empathy, teamwork, and clear communication with patients and staff
