Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, and report changes to nursing staff
• Support residents with mobility and transfer needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Connecticut
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• No prior experience required; new graduates welcome

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing principles and patient care techniques
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Excellent observation and documentation skills
• Physical stamina to perform patient care tasks
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) is a plus
