Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Support patients with mobility, hygiene, and comfort needs
• Work collaboratively with nurses and therapists to deliver high-quality care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compassionate environment

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Virginia
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Acute care or hospital experience is a plus
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and vital signs monitoring
• Empathy and professionalism in all patient interactions
• Adaptability to changing patient needs and unit demands
