Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Support safe transfer and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
Document care provided in a clear and timely manner
Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing
Previous experience as a CNA preferred but new grads with strong bedside manner are welcome
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screening per facility policy
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of patient care techniques and safe transfer methods
Competence in measuring and documenting vital signs
Familiarity with infection control practices and standard precautions
Good observational skills to notice changes in patient condition
Teamwork, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting
