Location: Santa Maria, California

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with self-scheduling, plus on-call coverage from 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM on weekdays and every other weekend from 3:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $93 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, IR, and EP suites
Assist cardiologists during left and right heart catheterizations, STEMIs, ICD and pacemaker implants, and peripheral interventions
Support IR procedures including port placements, fistulas, biliary and nephrostomy tubes, and IVC filter placements
Collaborate with the care team during EP ablations and device implantations
Float between Cath Lab, IR, and EP labs to meet daily case volumes of 8-12 procedures
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner and Xper systems
Respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes to provide life-saving interventions

Qualifications

Active RCIS or ARRT certification required
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
EP lab experience strongly preferred
Travel experience is a plus
BLS and ACLS certifications preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of Cath Lab, IR, and EP procedures
Familiarity with Cerner and Xper documentation systems
Ability to scrub and assist in a variety of cardiac and vascular cases
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable floating between multiple specialty labs
