Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in the Cath Lab and IR suite
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, and interventional procedures
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Operate imaging equipment and monitor patient vitals during procedures
• Participate in on-call coverage for emergency procedures during evenings and weekends
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to radiation safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active ARRT (R) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Prior experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
• State licensure as required by Iowa

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
• Proficient in operating fluoroscopy and imaging equipment
• Strong patient monitoring and assessment skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
