Roles & Responsibilities

• Masterfully decontaminate and process surgical instruments to ensure patient safety
• Assemble complex ortho and neuro trays with precision and care
• Monitor sterilization processes using biological and chemical indicators
• Handle specialty equipment like Da Vinci robotics and trauma instruments
• Collaborate with the team to manage 200 trays daily, keeping the OR running smoothly

Qualifications

• 2 years of sterile processing experience, especially with complex ortho and trauma trays
• Active CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification required
• Travel experience preferred, first-time travelers not accepted
• Flu vaccine required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in low temp sterilization and monitoring
• Familiarity with steam sterilizers, STERIS equipment, and automated washers
• Skilled in processing ortho/totals, neuro/crani, and robotics instruments
• Knowledge of high-level disinfection, scope reprocessing, and case carts
• Experience in acute hospital OR and ambulatory surgery centers a plus
