Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and sterilize equipment for surgeries
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
• Maintain a sterile field and monitor patient safety
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after surgery
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a surgical setting preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instruments
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and adapt quickly
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
