Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients in the Cardiovascular Lab
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Communicate continuously with physicians about patient condition
• Assist with equipment maintenance, inventory, and procedure room readiness
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities

Qualifications

• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certificates
• One year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area

Education

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiovascular Lab procedures
• Critical Care patient management
• BCLS, ACLS, DCI/BVP certification
• Equipment and inventory management
• Patient monitoring and data recording
