Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring safety and quality control
• Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and provide education
• Verify physician orders and consult with radiologists as needed
• Assist radiologists with MR procedures
• Evaluate MRI images for technical quality
• Maintain ARRT standards and perform supervisory functions

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent GE MRI experience
• BLS certification
• ARRT certification
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety and contrast media
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work weekend nights and 20-hour shifts
