Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions per the PT plan of care to help patients regain mobility.
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and timely.
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs to promote recovery.
• Communicate patient status to supervising PT and interdisciplinary team.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license (or ability to obtain one).
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Education

• Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program graduate.

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical Therapy techniques and interventions.
• Documentation and compliance standards.
• Patient education and home exercise program development.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication.
