Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ function through formal and informal testing to determine skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status
• Develop goal‑specific treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance
• Submit written treatment regimes and update plans of care as needed
• Coordinate treatment schedules with patients, families, and clinical support staff
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about pathology, prognosis, and treatment rationale

Qualifications

• Active Michigan PT license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient PT experience
• Experience with Physical Therapist Assistants and aides
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and patient education skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Documentation and charting in electronic health records
