Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM - 6:45 PM (12‑hour day shift) with three weekend shifts per schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care across high‑acuity ICU, observation, med‑surg, and specialty surgical units
  • Administer and titrate vasoactive, sedative, and analgesic infusions according to physician orders
  • Monitor and manage ventilators, high‑flow, BiPAP, and CPAP equipment
  • Utilize EPIC electronic health record for accurate documentation and care coordination
  • Collaborate with charge nurses, monitor techs, and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in unit orientation, Myles modules, and Cerner validation training
  • Maintain safe nurse‑to‑patient ratios and adjust assignments based on acuity

Qualifications

  • Current Washington RN license or Compact license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years ICU experience, high‑acuity preferred
  • Proven floating experience across multiple units
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR system

Knowledge & Skills

  • Critical care assessment and monitoring
  • Ventilator and respiratory equipment management
  • Medication titration and drip management
  • Electronic health record documentation (EPIC)
  • Effective communication and teamwork
