Registered Nurse - High Acuity Float Pool
Location: Seattle, WA
Start Date: 09-14-2026
End Date: 12-14-2026
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM - 6:45 PM (12‑hour day shift) with three weekend shifts per schedule
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across high‑acuity ICU, observation, med‑surg, and specialty surgical units
- Administer and titrate vasoactive, sedative, and analgesic infusions according to physician orders
- Monitor and manage ventilators, high‑flow, BiPAP, and CPAP equipment
- Utilize EPIC electronic health record for accurate documentation and care coordination
- Collaborate with charge nurses, monitor techs, and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in unit orientation, Myles modules, and Cerner validation training
- Maintain safe nurse‑to‑patient ratios and adjust assignments based on acuity
Qualifications
- Current Washington RN license or Compact license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience, high‑acuity preferred
- Proven floating experience across multiple units
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care assessment and monitoring
- Ventilator and respiratory equipment management
- Medication titration and drip management
- Electronic health record documentation (EPIC)
- Effective communication and teamwork
