Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in a rehabilitation setting
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management
• Assess patient respiratory status and adjust treatments accordingly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and equipment

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist license in Illinois
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred but new grads welcome to apply
• ACLS and PALS preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment
• Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and patient education skills
• Proficiency in electronic medical records
