Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings for patients
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to provide optimal care
• Respond promptly to alarms and changes in patient condition
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately
• Educate patients and families on heart health and recovery

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia
• BLS certification from AHA
• ACLS preferred
• Experience in telemetry or cardiac nursing
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
• Knowledge of cardiac medications and interventions
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate patient care approach
