Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare pediatric patients for surgery, ensuring they are safe and comfortable
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and review medical histories
• Educate patients and families about the surgical process
• Collaborate with surgical teams to coordinate care
• Maintain a calm and reassuring environment for young patients

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Experience in pediatrics or perioperative nursing a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
