Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and adjust care plans
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families
• Document patient responses and communicate changes in condition
• Respond quickly to emergencies and changes in patient status

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio or a compact state
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Previous PICU or pediatric critical care experience strongly preferred
• Ability to think quickly and act decisively in high-pressure situations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of pediatric medications, dosages, and equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Comfort with electronic health records and documentation
